Ted’s Valley Auction is located in the heart of North Central Idaho. Our business is based in Kamiah Idaho which is a beautiful little town with the Middle Fork of the Clearwater River as a focal point.
Here in Kamiah we are in the center of Idaho’s hunting and fishing paradise located on the Hwy 12 corridor running through the Nez Perce, Clearwater, Lewis and Idaho counties.
Ted and Tiffany have lived in Idaho for over 50 years ranging from Preston and Weston, located in southern Idaho (Cache Valley) to our current location here in Kamiah. Ted graduated from Idaho State University located in Pocatello Idaho, in Law Enforcement. In July of 1991 started working for the Kamiah Marshal’s Office where Ted spent over the next 12 years in Law Enforcement and Tiffany spent her time working at the local grocery store and spent over eight years working at Sterling Savings Bank. In 2003 Ted and Tiffany started a small family business, TNT Works a commercial floor care/janitorial service, which is still thriving. In 2008 we took over operations and ownership of Valley Auction. Ted worked for Valley Auction for several years, setting up auctions and learning about Auctions before taking over the business. Before that, like many other people, we have attended Auctions to get great deals on many different items to help furnish our own home. We have a personal appreciation for auctions and how they can benefit communities and their residents, especially helping when the poor economy makes getting deals a big help.
We have two grown children, Teresa and Tyson who help with the auctions. Ted loves the outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends. Ted & Tiffany also do Dutch oven/Outdoor catering and love to cook when we have spare time.
Ted is also spent 15 years on the Kamiah Fire Department. Giving back to the community. He retired July of 2018 but still finds a lot of time to give service to others. As you can tell, he loves to work and stay busy.
Tiffany loves to spend time with family, Play the piano, Crochet, cook deserts, and try new recipes. She has an eye for making everything look more appealing and so this is a trait that helps in all of our hobbies and business activities. Tiffany is also a very hard worker and likes to stay busy.
